Kona Indivisible
Abbreviation: KIND
Service area: West Hawaii: from Kealakelua to Waikoloa, including Kailua-Kona

Mobilizing Kona residents to take to the streets, write postcards, and fight for inclusion, tolerance, and fairness.
Our story
November 5, 2024 hit hard: there was shock, disbelief, grief. But by January 20, 2025, the fire within us roared back.
On February 5th, 100 Kona residents showed up on Queen Kaʻahumanu Highway to stand against the Musk-Trump coup. By April, the 100 had become 1,000 at the Hands Off protests. In June, 1,500 turned out for Kick Out the Clowns and declared No Kings in America.
Kona may be laid-back, but Kona Indivisible is anything but. We organize, we show up, and we make noise — because democracy doesn’t defend itself.
KIND works alongside Matriarchy Rising, the chapter’s protest and sign-waving arm, led by Yvette Kay. Together, the two groups have built one of the most visible and active resistance communities on Hawaiʻi Island. You can be a part of it.
